Come and get a feel for our very own ‘Fenestra House’.
In 2017 a former school building of special interest to the Blackpool area was acquired for La Calavera College and work began restoring the property to revive its educational heritage and create the first dedicated embalming and mortuary science college in the UK complete with an exclusive library, reading room, lecture room and associated facilities.
The Carolus Reading Room and Library is proud to boast a comprehensive collection of books specific to the fields of embalming and mortuary science. Students of the college will soon be able to view the extensive collection of reading materials through this very website and loan books for private study or book quiet time in the reading room and peruse the entire range.
